vizcaino wants to much cash

The Yankees want him as well as the Mets do, too. But cost is to high, they cant keep the reliever Luis Vizcaino in New York. He is expected to sign as a free agent with another team within the week. Late Friday night, Vizcaino turned down salary arbitration. The Yankees could sign him to a new deal, but the cost was high"We've had a lot of interest and we've narrowed Luis' list to four teams, though I'd prefer not to say who," said Vizcaino's agent. "Turning down the Yankees' offer didn't specifically mean his time with the Yankees had come to an end.
The Yanks would have been been happy to sign a one year deal, but that's not what relievers like Vizcaino, are getting these days. Scott Linebrink got four years and $19 million from the White Sox, David Risk got three years and $13 million from the Brewers and J.C. Romero got three years and $12 million from the Phillies. salaries like that are way to high for what the yankees can commit to right now for a reliever.
