Mall security

As we all know there are some crazy people out there that will do things to hurt anyone at anygivin time and place. A mall is a key spot to have a massicare and it was proven earlier this week when a man lost his mind and shot 8 people . He was able to bring a firearm into a public mall with no problem at all. Thats were the problem comes in now all of america is aware that they can do the same . This is why we need to have strict security maby even medal detectors in all of our malls so a tragity like the one earlier this week can not occur again. If more and more people urge to strenghin up security at malls we would be able to shop in a very safe envioment.

Fake Tanning

Tanning salons are becoming more and more popular as time moves on. Most people only care about what they look like and they have a goal and they will to do anything to reach i. But the problem is that tanning salons are not the best way to get some nice skin color. Even goin to the beach and getting a normal tan they say can be very un healthy for your skin. People of all ages are starting to go tanning even tho there is an age limit of 18 years old and its agenst the law for minors to tan. Tanning salon owners arent worried about the age or even the health , only one thing and that is MONEY $$. All these high pressure tanning machines are fairley new and the consequences down the line are still unknown and i feel that its very foolish to be tanin when its proven to be harmful and there is most likley to be severe consquences down the line. People cna only do so much to stop you from doing harmful things, but the cards are in you hand.

Drinking And Driving

Drunk driving causes way to many un neccisary deaths every single year that can be avoided very easily. The legal limit of drinking is .07 that basicly consists of one beer. Most people when they go out for a drink they have atleat 6 beers on a normal weekend night thats not including hard liqior. This is a very big problem because when these people are done most of them are getting behind the wheel of a car and that is not good because there are innocent people out there not only driving but pedestrions on foot that can loose thier life at any given time because of a foolish decesion of a drunk driver . I feel something has to be done even though the police department really does have harsh penalties but people still do not listen , we should have alot moe spot checks on weekend nights. But all these incedents that cause thier lifes and lifes of innocent people must come to a hault immediatly.

New York Traffic

Daily traffic has many of new yorkers going crazy everyday, late to work, school, and almost everywhere.Years ago you can get place to palace as rapidly as you feel like it with out any sort or traffic delay. Today your lucky if you can go a few blocks or exits on these busy New york streets and highways. I feel the cause of this is the population is growing way to fast in these five bourghs , there are way to many cars on the road, and most of all not enouf space in these streets and expressways. On top of all this there is always major construction on most highways and bridges. Ex: there are thousands of people that cross the Verrizano Bridge everyday the traiffic gets backed up all the way to almost the toll plaza exiting the battery tunnel. Then when your over the bridge there is bumper to bumper traffic on the Staten Island expressway. Now they are saying there going to close the botam half of the Bridge for repairs the traffic is going to double instantly. I believe its goin to be a disaster and i feel that something has to be done as soon as possible, also this is a very big terrorist problem when the longest extension brige is packed bumper to bumper with traffic during rush hour almost 7 days a week. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE NOW !!

Being Physical Fit

I feel that it is very important to be in optimium shape. When you are in shape you stay healthy your not putting any excess strain on ur body because it allready has enouf just doin the neccisary needs to get by day by day. The number one key to being physical fit is diet that is the most import thing it can be ur key to sucsess but also ur number one downfall. Also you have to train but not over train because when you over train you can hurt your muscles. Train on a daily basis come up with a workout plan that fits ur physical goals. When you first start getting into your new routine it may hurt and you will be sore and you may want to stop and say this isnt worth it because im not seeing any results. As time moves on you will start to see results slowly but shortly and then you will become more and more into your physical routine and diet. If you follow these simple steps you will be in shape they are the key to sucsess.

The italian stallion

The fairly new and upcoming boxer Paulie Mallignaggi. He was born in brooklyn was only here for a few months then his family mover back to sicily, italy Paulie got kicked out of almost every school he was ever in, then finally his grandfahter started taking him to the gym with him every since that day he loved it and fell right into the daily routine. Can the U.S. handle a female president?

Currently, Hillary Clinton is the front runner for the Democratic bid in the race for the U.S. presidency. Senator Clinton has accrued political experience with her position as First Lady to President William Jefferson Clinton and her current position in the New York State Senate. Her credentials are unquestionably sound, but can your average American grasp the concept of a woman as the leader of the free world? American society, since the 1960's, has made tremendous gains in gender equality due to events such as the civil rights movement, but do we have parity amongst the sexes? Inclusive of the strides woman have made in the past 75 years womens socio-economic status is still not on par with that of a man. Women, for the same job and the same work, still do not make the salary of their male counterparts. Women are also held to a physical appearance standard, which is not endured by their male counterparts. If men can not accept women as equals on this scale, can we really expect them to accept a woman as their leader in global politics?

NYPD RECRUITMENT

Starting salary for an NYPD officer is currently $25,100. For $25,000 NYC expects an officer to obtain 60 college credits and survive the high cost of living of NYC on this menial salary. Officers are subjected to months of training, erratic scheduling, public scrutiny and an administration that refuses to settle a contract, which is outdated by almost three years. The department, due to its low starting pay, will suffer recruitment shortages for years to come. Cost of living in NYC is one of the highest in the nation, but NYC pays its officers one of the lowest salaries in the nation. How can the NYPD expect to lure candidates to risk their lives on a daily basis when you can't even assure potential recruits that they can pay the rent at the end of the month?

Barry Bonds was hit with federal charges late yesterday that could set him in jail - instead of the Hall of Fame - for up to 30 years. all by steroid allegations, Bonds was charged for lying to a grand jury about using steroids to transform himself from a speed demon into a home run-hitter basiclly the hulk. This possible sentence shock waves all over including the white house even the president was very dissopointed to hear what was goin on in major league baseball today '' this is a sad time for baseball'' The indictment was handed up after a four-year investigation by california's investigators . This case a has led to be the biggest steroid case in the history of all sports.

Bonds and his sterod case

The case begins friday on the battle for Barry Bonds' freedom and he was putting the final touches on his team of lawers just in time Thursday night trying to get all the pieces to the puzzle together. Baseball's home run king makes his court appearance Friday. The steroid investigation and is still on going amoung two San Francisco lawyers Thursday night who are expected to join his current lawer because he is in some serious trouble. Bonds and his advisers were close to settling on a team that includes Cris Arguedas, a highly respected Berkeley lawyer , and Allen Ruby, a well-regarded attorney based in San Jose. The lawyers have worked together on previous cases. Bonds need all the help he can get no matter how much the cost is . Even if he has to sactifice some valuable belongings it is well worth it because he can be facing some serious penalites but also jail time . He has come a long way and in the days to come we will see his intelegence.

vizcaino wants to much cash

The Yankees want him as well as the Mets do, too. But cost is to high, they cant keep the reliever Luis Vizcaino in New York. He is expected to sign as a free agent with another team within the week. Late Friday night, Vizcaino turned down salary arbitration. The Yankees could sign him to a new deal, but the cost was high"We've had a lot of interest and we've narrowed Luis' list to four teams, though I'd prefer not to say who," said Vizcaino's agent. "Turning down the Yankees' offer didn't specifically mean his time with the Yankees had come to an end.
The Yanks would have been been happy to sign a one year deal, but that's not what relievers like Vizcaino, are getting these days. Scott Linebrink got four years and $19 million from the White Sox, David Risk got three years and $13 million from the Brewers and J.C. Romero got three years and $12 million from the Phillies. salaries like that are way to high for what the yankees can commit to right now for a reliever.

floyd maywether

WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. put Ricky Hatton in his place and his British fans . In the 10th round technical knockout at the MGM Grand which was sold out in las vegas Saturday night.
It was a harsh night for Hatton, who had only been down once in his career. He lost for the first time in so long. The two-time junior welterweight and welterweight champion was no match for Mayweather. Before the knockout at the start the 10th, he was only behind by about 10 points on two of the judges scorecards the stats were even closer.
"That was a fluke," Hatton joked. "I felt all right tonight. I felt really big and really strong. I left myself open. He's better inside than I thought with all the elbows, shoulders and forearms he used. He was a lot more clever. floyd maywether showed ounce again the unreal power he has.

Marburys first game back since his tragity

As we all know marburys father passed away, a photo of his father was displayed on the screens at the Garden Saturday night, Marbury looked up repeatadly the photo.
He kept putting his head down after looking at the picture, joining the crowd and his teammates for a moment of silence to honor Marbury Sr.
It was his first game back since his father had a heart attack last Sunday.
More than 25 other Marbury relatives attended the game honor the family.
They traveled from as far away as Tennessee, Atlanta and Detroit. Don Marbury said. "That's the way we were raised by my father." The Knicks star did not speak to reporters before or after yesterday's game. When he appeared in a corridor leading to the court, he seemed drained his shoulders were slumped, his face appeared like a ghost.

Eli is ready for the eagles

Eli Manning was already in the midst of one of the best days of his career when he dropped back to pass late in overtime in Sept. 2006. As usual, the Eagles were blitzing. of coarse within seconds, two defenders were right in eli's face.
Manning saw it coming and had already adjusted the play, which set up the hugeee game-winning touchdown pass to Burress that shows how much dedication this Giants' quarterback has done in his seven career games against the vaunted Philly blitz. He courageously stands in the pocket, and at times has taken a pounding. but after all he has done a wonderfull job.
But against the Eagles, he knows there's always an opportunity for a big play. He will keep proving it time after time.

Matsui wont stay with the yankees

Matsui said in a public appearence Saturday since the Yankees and Giants we negotiating about outfielders, and what Matsui didn't say might have been as revealing as what he did say.
Matsui, "I have not heard anything from the Yankees and my agent," Matsui told the paper, in remarks translated by one of its reporters. "I cannot comment about any reports or rumors. I am going to think about only when the team or my agent calls me.
"All I can do right now is to prepare for the next season. Especially I have to rehab for my right knee during this offseason."
It's up in the air which team started the talks. A Yankee official said the Giants approached them, but there are reports in Japan that the Yankees have shopped Matsui to the Giants and other teams, possibly the Indians and the White Sox.
The Yankees like the Giants' 6-2 lefty Jonathan Sanchez and also Lefty Noah Lowry's name has come up . All these discussions are only in the early stages. Matsui's agent, Arn Tellem, said the Yankees hadn't approached him to ask Matsui about waiving his no-trade clause. Tellem did not reply. Matsui, who had a .285 average, 25 homers and 103 RBI last season, is rehabbing from knee surgery and should be ready for spring training.
