The National League on the edge of our seats as usual

The Philadelphia Phillies will be able to relax for a few days. The New York mets come short once again leaving fans on suicide watch. This gave the Phillies the National League title. The mets made history again. As usual for all the wrong reasons, they became the first team in history to blow a seven game lead with only seventeen games left.

This made for a little twist considering the Phillies became the first team in history to post 10,000 losses. The Phillies with 12 games to play and a 6.5 game lead back in 64 blew it. So this proves that it was simply there year and it was the mets turn to collapse. The Phillies are returning to the post season for the first time since 1993. To conclude star Ryan Howard states There's only one more celebration to try and go for now and that's the whole thing".
